In Luke 8:42-48, we read about a woman who had been suffering from a hemorrhage for twelve years. She had spent all her money on doctors, but none of them could heal her. Then, one day, she heard about Jesus and the power that He had to heal. She knew that if she could just touch His cloak, she would be healed. So, she made her way through the crowd and touched the hem of His cloak. Immediately, she was healed. Jesus turned to her and said, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace."

This story is a powerful reminder that Jesus still heals today. No matter what you are going through, Jesus is there for you. He wants to give you the healing and wholeness that you need. All you need to do is ask.
So, what do you need from Jesus today? Maybe you are struggling with a physical ailment, like the woman in the story.
Maybe you are dealing with emotional pain or mental anguish. Perhaps you are facing a difficult decision or a major life change. Whatever your need may be, Jesus is ready and willing to help.
One of the first things you need from Jesus is faith. The woman in the story had faith that Jesus could heal her. She believed that He had the power to make her well. We, too, need to have faith that Jesus can meet our needs. We need to trust in His goodness and His love for us. When we have faith, we can approach Jesus with confidence and ask for His help.
In addition to faith, we need humility. The woman in the story was humble enough to admit that she needed help. She could have tried to hide her condition or pretend that everything was fine. Instead, she was honest about her need and reached out to Jesus. We, too, need to be humble and admit our need for Jesus. We need to acknowledge that we cannot do everything on our own and that we need His help.
Another thing we need from Jesus is perseverance. The woman in the story didn't give up, even though she had suffered for twelve years. She had heard about Jesus and was determined to find Him. We, too, need to persevere in our faith. We may not see immediate results, but if we keep seeking Jesus, we will find Him. We need to keep praying and trusting, even when things seem difficult.
Finally, we need to remember that Jesus is compassionate. He cares about our needs and our struggles. He is not distant or aloof. He is right there with us, ready to help us in any way He can. We can approach Him with confidence, knowing that He loves us and wants to help us.
Conclusion:
We all have needs that only Jesus can meet. Perhaps we need healing, guidance, comfort, or strength. Whatever it may be, we can approach Jesus with faith, humility, perseverance, and trust in His compassion. Just like the woman in the story, we can find healing and wholeness in Him. So, today, let us reach out to Jesus and ask Him for what we need. He is waiting and ready to help.
